The choreographer Marcos Morau has a unique talent for transforming collective memories into movement and imagery. Renowned for his strikingly surreal visuals, he draws inspiration from a vast array of influences, including literature, photography, and film aesthetics.

Wunderkammer means ‘chamber of wonders’, those cabinets of curiosities that emerged in Renaissance and Baroque Europe as collections of unusual and ‘curious’ objects. These assembled and united ‘the strange’ and the fascinating from the fields of science, art, and nature. Morau envisions the stage as just such a ‘chamber’, a space brimming with surprises and unexpected perspectives, inviting us to confront ‘the strangeness’ within ourselves.
